Hohm Tech is back with an even better version of it's popular Hohm WORK battery, the Hohm Work 2! Phenomenal sustained amperage and voltage delivery under heavy load in a 18650 (18mm x 65mm) cell.  These are rated by Indonesia Chemistry at 2576mAh capacity, with a CDR of 24.7A and a pulse/peak rating of 41.3A*6.  All ratings are subject to meet and/or exceed strict limitation policies set forth for DLr*1, TID*2, PVDL*3, CLR*4 mΩR*5, and Temperature (°C). Hohm Work2 is built with CoMn chemistry concentration, with manganese inert compounds replaced with proprietary levels of cobalt oxide and raw graphite to achieve unprecedented capabilities.

Every Hohm Tech cell model has been tested and certified by the rightful authorities/laboratories and accredited entities to achieve certification of MSDS, CE, ROHS, UN38.3, Specifications, Air/Sea Transport, and PLI.  We do not cut corners. These cells are built specifically for intense & power-hungry devices that require consistent amperage delivery to operate as intended. Not only was power & capacity a priority, but safety measures were at the forefront of it all.

Improvements made based on it's predecessor:

  • Lowered internal resistance by a multitude of various internal modifications (used UHPAI for cathode tag, shortened cathode tag, among other mods)
  • Each cell is fitted with Hohm Tech's proprietary EPTC (Enhanced Positive Thermal Coefficient) ring with higher multiplier of resistance.
  • Updated poly seal with refined bitumen is installed in every cell to ensure excess pressure is controlled
  • Mn and Mn inert replaced by an additional .37% Cobalt (Co) & Nickel (Ni) proprietary levels
  • Modified cathode tag consisting of higher purity aluminum is utilized to aid with lowering internal resistance
  • Every cell equipped with 2-stage CID (Current Interrupt Device) system to aid in overcharge prevention

However in lieu of recent events regarding more aggressive tactics by companies who sell re-wrapped, mis-labled cells, we have decided to become more aggressive ourselves when it comes to spotting fakes. In addition to thorough visual inspections of every batch of cells we receive, we are also now going to be conducting our own discharge tests. These tests will be made available to you via product gallery photo on the respective product page. To be clear, these tests serve only to validate that the cells are performing as per their manfuacturer stated specifications. We will not be testing any cells above their stated limits.
